Educational Innovation Requires a Flexible and Stable Network
The tender for Montessori Scholengemeenschap Amsterdam (MSA) has been awarded to Avit Group, network integrator and managed service provider. With the award, Avit will initially take on the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure and cabling for three locations. These are in need of renewal due to the increased need for digital education. In the long term, the IT infrastructure will be renewed at all locations.
Education at the Montessori Scholengemeenschap Amsterdam is also constantly subject to major changes. Funding, scaling up, merging and collaboration: these are regular topics on the agenda. Digitization also plays a major role: both in the education itself, and in supporting students and teachers. It is therefore important that the IT infrastructure meets today’s requirements to allow the school community to continue to grow its innovative capacity.
Marcel Martens, Sector Unit Manager Educatie Avit Group:
Like many schools, the MSA is working on educational innovation. Connectivity is increasingly important in this. A new network was a requirement for MSA to be able to keep up with developments in rapid succession. We therefore standardize the network environment and get rid of the complexity of the network. We are proud of the strategic partnership with MSA and we consider it an honor to be part of all the innovations.
Alle van Steenis MSA:
We are very happy to undertake this renewal project together with Avit Group. As a Cisco Gold partner and because of its proven experience in and knowledge of the education market, we have an excellent partner with Avit both on an operational and strategic level. We look forward to a great collaboration.
