WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As Presales Consultant Cisco Networking in Vianen you analyze the customer needs during presales meetings. You translate these needs correctly into a functional and technical design and quotation. In addition, you are able to present this verbally and in writing to the customer.

WHAT TASKS WILL YOU PERFORM?

Initiating and organizing sales promotion activities, whether or not in cooperation with the relevant vendors;
Drafting, preparing and checking quotation texts and/or consulting reports;
Advising on new technologies and services and developing them into a marketable product;
Transferring any assignment you won to our delivery organization;
Ensuring a good relationship with your vendors on both a commercial and technical level.
Further developping our propositions in the area of Cisco networking.

WHAT DO WE ASK FOR?

Minimum 5 years relevant experience within ICT of which 3 years relevant commercial and technical experience;
A Higher Vocational education degree, preferably of an ICT related curriculum;
Experience implementing IT networks;
Relevant valid certifications and specializations. At least at the professional level (Cisco CCNA/P);
In possession of a driver's license B.
Demonstrated experience in designing complex LAN networks and writing quotation texts and consultancy reports;
Familiar with Cisco Software Defined Networking, preferably supplemented with knowledge of data center networking or wireless networking;
Analytical and problem solving skills;
Good communication skills in word and writing;
You are able to use technical knowledge in a commercial way to convince customers;
Flexibility, stress resistance and independence;
Knowledge of other IT disciplines such as Security, Datacenter and/or Collaboration is a plus.
