WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As a Project Manager Software Development, you will be given far-reaching authority to make decisions within projects. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and the team, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and deadline. The project teams at Avit Integration can consist of a mix of colleagues, vendors and customers. You are expected to keep your knowledge up to date and contribute to building the knowledge and experience of your fellow Project Managers. The continuous development of our project management methodologies is an example of this.


WHAT TASKS WILL YOU PERFORM?

  • Managing the project team to achieve the set project objectives;
  • Actively managing the project scope, recognizing any deviations in time and taking appropriate action;
  • Work preparation for the development teams, such as translating the scope into work items;
  • Execution of the project in accordance with Agile project management standards;
  • Communication and expectation management, both internal and external;
  • Risk and impact analysis during the project;
  • Upon completion of the project: transfer of the customer to our Services organization.


WHAT DO WE ASK FOR?

  • Demonstrated Higher Vocational education work and thinking level, preferably a completed Higher Vocational education;
  • Certified in a relevant project management methodology (for example: Agile Project Management, ITIL, Prince2);
  • Minimum of three years hands-on project management experience (more preferred);
  • Experience with software development is a plus, but are you a fantastic project manager from another industry? Who knows, there may still be a match;
  • In possession of a driver's license (B);
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
  • Leadership and decisiveness: You exude seniority and are always in control. You have leadership skills;
  • Results-oriented: you understand the nuances of software development and know how to deliver projects within scope and budget within this complex environment;
  • Communication: you are able to manage expectations well, listen well and bring your ideas to the attention of different levels;
  • Integrity: you are honest and sincere and stand by what you say;
  • Commercially sensitive: you are able to recognize opportunities with customers and place them with the right people within the organization;
  • Helpful attitude towards coworkers: people enjoy working with you and you actively contribute to a friendly atmosphere within the team.
