WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As a Security Engineer you will carry out project-based work at medium-sized and enterprise customers in the Netherlands and abroad. Together with a team of colleagues you implement environments based on the latest Cisco and Microsoft technology. Our customers receive an end-to-end security solution. This allows users to access IT and company data securely and location-independently. Among other things, you will create a functional and technical design. In addition, you take care of the implementation or migration to achieve a successful conclusion of the project.

WHAT TASKS WILL YOU PERFORM?

• Properly, efficiently and independently execute projects under the direction of a project manager in a team;
• Independently develop your technical knowledge, maintain it at a consistently high level and be willing to share it with colleagues;
• Co-responsibility for building knowledge and experience within the Security knowledge team;
• Keeping up with relevant market developments;
• Functioning as an interface between our customers and our own organization;
• Achieving set project goals as member of the project team.

WHAT DO WE ASK FOR?

• A demonstrable Higher Vocational Education work and thinking level. A completed ICT training is a plus;
• Demonstrated experience of at least three years as a Project Engineer;
• You have a valid Cisco CCNP Security or a Microsoft Security certification, or are willing to obtain one in the near future;
• Generic certifications in the field of security, such as CISSP, are a plus;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing. German and/or French is a plus;
• You are willing to work in accordance with the standards set within ISO9001, ISO27001 and ISO14001;
• In possession of a driver's license (B).
• You are enthusiastic, positive, eager to learn and experienced in carrying out implementations on a project basis.
• You can realize solutions based on the various Cisco and/or Microsoft Security products, or have broad experience in various security technologies;
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience with one or more Cisco Security technologies, such as: ISE, Umbrella SIG, Secure Endpoint, Secure Email, Secure Access (DUO), Secure Network Analytics, Secure Firewall or;
• Knowledge of and demonstrable experience with one or more Microsoft Security technologies such as Azure Security Center, Azure Defender, Microsoft Defender for Identity/Endpoint and Microsoft Endpoint Manager;
• Knowledge of and demonstrable experience with similar products from other vendors is a plus;
• Experience in preparing functional and technical designs for complex Cisco Security environments.
